Meet the family
We’re a blend of expert knowledge, skills and passion – and we’d like to think the ultimate formula for a great mortgage.
Mervyn has been a financial adviser since 1982 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience across the whole financial services market; you can speak to him about pensions, investments, your protection needs, or if you like, gardening, as his first occupation was at Hampton Court palace as an apprentice gardener many moons ago.
Helene came into the business in 1997 and holds the diploma in financial advice, she is enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated to helping others purchase their first home, and knows where to go for those slightly tricky cases where credit history might be an issue, or where income has fluctuated making it difficult to secure a normal high street lender mortgage.
Finally, Gareth has a first-class honours degree in Business Studies and has over 15 years of experience in property-related matters, having previously managed for 10 years our sister business April Homes (which was our Independent family-run estate agency). He currently runs the office – having completed his studies to be a mortgage adviser – and supports Helene. He is honest and dependable and has been described by his previous estate agency clients as “consistently going above and beyond”, “having such integrity and decency” and “a pleasure to deal with”.
We work with all kinds of people from the self-employed to company directors, and our clients are based anywhere from East Anglia to further beyond. Indeed, we are now able to work for clients who are not local by using our new online client portal. Please contact our office for more information.
